The Capistrano Community Mariachi Program is able to serve the
community in providing mariachi education through generous
donations from supporters like you. Students and families also donate
monthly to contribute to the costs of instructors, music supplies, and
field trips.
Our planned field trips include the annual Tuscon Mariachi
Festival held in Arizona, mariachi competitions, and attending mariachi
performances throughout Southern California. These events will
enhance the mariachi students understanding of mariachi music and
connect them with other communities.
There are many ways you can make an impact. Make a difference
today!

- Childrens Mariachi Group. You can help start our first children's
mariachi group. So far, with the support of some of our amigos,
CCMP has been able to form our first youth mariachi ensemble,
"Mariachi Capistrano" and provide mariachi uniforms for two girls
that will be in the childrens mariachi group. Our goal for 2009-2010 is
to start our second student ensemble that will consist of talented
young children. The children's mariachi group will consist of
approximately 11-12 members. We need your help in providing
mariachi uniforms for the kids group.
- Attending the Tuscon International Mariachi Conference 2010. This
mariachi conference is one of the biggest and most important
mariachi conferences in the world. Students are able to meet with
world class mariachi artists and receive instruction. Over 1,000
students meet at this conference. We plan on taking 20 students to
this conferences and we need your help in helping cover the
students tuition and transportation.
