   CCMP currently offers instruction in guitarron, vihuela, guitar, trumpet, violin, and voice.  Classes are
structured for both beginning and intermediate students ages 6 and up.  Families are also  encouraged to enroll
together.  
 Beginning Level
  CCMP beginning students are introduced to  some of the basic fundamentals of music.  Students learn to read
simple music and play as an ensemble.  Beginning students learn the building blocks of music that enable them
to learn traditional mariachi songs and elements.
 Intermediate Level
  CCMP intermediate students have either been with the program or have played an instrument for at least a
year.  Students in this level have been introduced to the basic music building blocks and are able to read simple
mariachi songs.  Students will further develop these skills and will learn more about mariachi, voice and
instrument technique.  Unique styles such as sones and huapangos will also be introduced.
